Storm IQ series: TEXT AS DATA

(in partnership with InvEnt)

Come join us for an overview of when computational text analysis is the ‘right tool for the task’. Based on four impulse talks about word embedding, topic models, keyword extraction, and text-based classification, we will discuss the promise and pitfalls of text as data. During this discussion, those who are considering using computational text analysis for the first time can ask veteran users of these methods about their experience and solicit feedback on emergent research designs.
Speakers include: Parham Ashur, Christof Brandtner, Tony Landu, Daniela Schoch, and Adam Storer.
